The Commit to Outcomes fellowship, led by former Richardson Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Jeannie Stone, equips district and school leaders with the clarity, discipline and tools required to turn vision into measurable impact. At its core, the fellowship challenges leaders to build aligned, data-driven systems that produce real results for students.
This work is grounded in a clear purpose. When school systems improve measurable student outcomes, more students graduate prepared for postsecondary success. And when more young adults complete postsecondary credentials aligned to high-demand careers, more of our neighbors are positioned to earn a living wage. That is how systems change translates into economic mobility.
On Friday, Feb. 13, the fellowship celebrated the completion of the program with 14 graduates representing school systems and organizations across North Texas, including Cedar Hill ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, DeSoto ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Irving ISD, Lancaster ISD, Mesquite ISD and Uplift Education. Together, they celebrated a shared commitment to students, stronger systems and measurable outcomes that change lives.
The inaugural Commit to Outcomes Fellowship Class of 2026 were united by a shared belief that defines this work: “ALL means ALL is the measure.” This is not a slogan. It is a standard. It is the expectation that every system, every strategy and every decision must ultimately deliver measurable results for every student.
“We all have a common goal that we want to reach and that truly is the success of our students,” said John Edmun, high school principal at Cedar Hill ISD. “That’s what I gathered from my time here and with the people that I have created this friendship with.”
The Leadership Flywheel serves as the core framework of the Commit to Outcomes Fellowship. Built around four interconnected elements, belief, people, systems and outcomes, it ensures leadership begins with an unwavering belief that every student can achieve at high levels. That belief is operational.

Belief shapes how leaders invest in people, developing teachers, empowering teams and building shared ownership. Strong people then build and sustain aligned systems, where strategy, instruction and resources are intentionally designed to support student success. When those systems function effectively, they produce measurable outcomes. Those outcomes reinforce belief and strengthen culture, keeping the cycle in motion.
“One of the differences in the way that I’m thinking about my work is using the flywheel as a way to diagnose differently,” said Amanda Dudley, managing director of primary schools at Uplift Education. “I’m thinking particularly about belief. I need to address mindsets before I do any planning or strategizing.”
This work is also regional. As leaders across multiple school systems align around shared outcomes and common leading indicators, North Texas builds coherence instead of fragmentation. Collaboration across districts accelerates progress and strengthens results for all students.
“I've seen how the collaboration at the core of [The Commit Partnership] as an entity is transforming collaboration across our region,” said Elexia Davison, director of human capital at DeSoto ISD. “Sitting with folks from 8 different school districts and 14 individuals total to converse about systems and what we can do differently is really powerful and transformative.”
The inaugural Class of 2026 leaves this fellowship with more than a certificate. They leave with sharpened resolve, clearer metrics and stronger systems of thinking. The work continues until every student in every school system represents the outcomes they deserve.
Congratulations to the Commit to Outcomes Fellowship Class of 2026. Because of their leadership, the future will not be left to chance. It is expected to be built with intention.
“The work they are doing [Commit to Outcomes] is impactful. It can change our county. It can change our students. It can change families. It can break generational poverty,” said T.J. Reed, executive director of secondary professionals at Mesquite ISD. “It’s something I knew about, but it will change what I think about as I lead and progress.
